In 2011 Sennheiser Spare Parts was launched in collaboration with Sennheiser UK and their UK Service Department.

In 2011 the original www.spares.sennheiser.co.uk website was launched as a joint project between Showcomms and Sennheiser UK. 
The remit for the website was spare parts for the Pro Audio Product Ranges at the time.

Our turn key display of Exploded Spare Part Diagrams enabled self identication of items required and became an on-line resource in it's own right.

It was not not long before spare parts for legacy products were introduced followed shortly by third party partner spare parts
Brands included Rane, Nagra, D.A.S. Audio spare parts and then later we were very proud to include Neumann spare parts.

At the end of 2019 Sennheiser UK undertook the launch of a new in-house spare parts website.

The domain spares.sennheiser.co.uk once again became the real estate of Sennheiser and migratedd to the current spares.sennheiser.com.
The old contents of the old website moved to a new domain at sennprospares.co.uk.

During the Covid pandemic in 2020 the website continued to list Spare Parts and Showcomms (the original operator of the websites)
was awarded both a Sennheiser and a Neumann Dealership for Pro Audio Products and Accessories.

In 2021 we completed our transition to a new look website listing Products and Accessories on the sennprospares.co.uk domain.

The original spares.sennheiser.co.uk was based on a concept on our Showcomms.com website.

Showcomms was conceived by Bruce Cocks, a Broadcast Sound and Comms engineer.
Bruce started his career in the Pro Audio and Comms in 1990 at VMTV and Molinare Studios having Studio Systems Engineering at Ravensbourne School He joined joined VMTV as a Trainee Vision Engineer but gravitated to Sound and then Comms.
In 1994 he joined Orbit Communications in Rome and worked in the Studios at Tor Sapienza and looked after the OB truck.
After a period as a freelance Sound Assistant and OB Guarantee Engineer Showcomms was conceived with an early on-line presence in the late 1990s.

Showcomms has been trading as a Limited Company since 2001 listing a choice of comms equipment for TV OBs and Studio Shows.
